| Based on the descriptions of music and dance of various ethnic groups in Xinjiang in the poems and articles of the western regions in the Qing Dynasty, combined with the related cultural relics, documents and field investigations, this paper sorts out the music and dance activities of various ethnic groups in the Qing Dynasty and compares them with those of today. The contents of the documents include local chronicles, travel notes of Literati, etc. . The ethnic groups in the article include Han, Uygur, Mongols, Kazakhs, etc. . In order to restore the style and features of music and dance of various ethnic groups in Xinjiang in the Qing Dynasty, and to explore the attitudes and viewpoints of the Literati attached to Xinjiang from different narrative attitudes in different periods.
